Mit den Gästen Mustafa Dogan und Fessum Ghirmazion redet Daniel über das Thema Migration. Im Jahr 2016 ließ die IG Metall erstmals Daten zum Migrationshintergrund ihrer Mitglieder erheben, um die Repräsentation, Beteiligung und Interessenvertretung von Personen mit (familiärer) Migrationsgeschichte in der Organisation zu beleuchten. Hintergrund waren die gesellschaftlichen Ungleichheiten, die sich entlang der Kategorie 'Migrationshintergrund' insbesondere im Zusammenhang von Migrationsregimen und Arbeitsmarktsegmentierung herausgebildet haben, sowie die ambivalente Geschichte gewerkschaftlicher Migrationspolitik in der BRD.
